Welcome
Grief was never meant to be carried alone. In much of the modern world we grieve in private, on a deadline, often without ritual, without witness, without ground beneath us.
This is a day set apart from that. A day to bring what you carry… for a person, a place, a version of yourself, a future that didn't arrive — into a circle that can hold it with you.
We'll move slowly. We'll move our bodies as well as our hearts. We'll spend time on open ground, in ceremony, and in the quieter company of people who understand that grief and love are close relatives.
No one is asked to perform their grief, and no one is asked to hide it either. You're welcome exactly as you arrive.
What to Expect
● A full day (please plan to arrive rested and leave unrushed)
● Time outdoors, dress for weather, wear shoes you can walk and stand in
● Movement as part of the day, nothing performative or advanced, just simple ways of letting the body join the process
● A communal grief ritual with drumming and voice, held collectively
● Shared food (please bring food to share), quiet time, and space to opt in or out of any part of the day
