This is a circular design made of turf and stone pavers that is 35 feet in diameter. This can be walked and used as a tool for inner contemplation.

The elements are all represented here, earth, air, fire, water and spirits. Earth and air are around us, above and below. Fire, although there is no naked flame at the labyrinth, is represented by the stainless steel mirrored tetrahedrons, on the circumference of the labyrinth. Water is piped under the pathways following the exact pattern of the labyrinth. You may then drink the water that has travelled the path of the labyrinth. Spirit is represented by the perfect patterning of the elestial smoky quartz crystal that is buried underground at the very centre of the labyrinth.

As we walk the Labyrinth our subtle energies are re-aligned and balanced into a harmonious form as shown in the photographs below.

Samples of water entering and leaving the Tofte labyrinth were sent to the Hado Laboratories of Professor Maseru Emoto in Lichtenstein for photographing. Professor Emoto has researched and written many books on water and its energy. He has discovered that good healthy energised water when frozen will always create a star shape based on the hexagon, a snowflake.

Through photographing the frozen molecules of water he has been able to examine the shapes that water makes when it is placed in different environments. He has found that polluted, ‘dead’ or un-energised water forms a chaotic shape with no geometric structure. The photographs below are of water taken from the Tofte Labyrinth. They clearly illustrate what happens to water when taken through the pattern of the labyrinth – it goes from a chaotic form to a geometric pattern. It is this geometric pattern that creates the circuitry through which the subtle electromagnetic energies in our bodies flow. Our bodies are made of 70% water and our brains 90%, if the water in us has no circuitry we have no pathways through which the subtle energy, sometimes referred to as prana or chi, can flow. By walking the labyrinth you allow the energy circuits in your bodily fluids to return to a geometric form which enables you to ‘plug’ into the Universal Energy fields.
